About the Founder

Nurse. Advocate. Future DNP-FNP.

Kimberly Morton is a registered nurse and DNP-FNP student at Emory University. Her nursing background includes intensive care, home health, hospice, and direct care across the healthcare continuum.

The Health Standard grew from a belief that patients should not leave a healthcare encounter confused about medication changes, laboratory results, warning signs, or what happens next.

“I want my patients to leave every visit knowing what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what happens next.”
